IBD-EII
inflammatory bowel disease
This platform is intended to help share evidence-based data regarding inflammatory bowel disease in a summarized way.
The landscape is becoming increasingly difficult as a result of many on-going trials and studies at the moment. This can hinder the learning process. I hope having this content can help gain perspective and update your knowledge.
Keep Updated
If you want to be updated with the latest summaries which I will update once per month and more content you can subscribe here
What is IBD?
IBD is the acronym of inflammatory bowel disease
These are chronic inflammatory conditions which mainly involve the gastrointestinal tract.
The two major forms are known as
Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis.
What is EII?
EII is the same acronym but in Spanish (enfermedad inflamatoria intestinal)
As this is the mother language of the author of this website and content.
How it works?
Here you will find summaries of relevant trials and studies published about IBD
You can choose below whether to see the studies organized by dates in a timeline or organized by categories in the evidence corner
Then, you can select any of the studies and decide whether to visit the journal where this was originally published or to see the one-slide summary I made of the study
The summaries are not capable of encompassing the entire effort and data behind each study for which reading the whole manuscript is recommended
